Wisconsin Trout Unlimited
The Wisconsin Council of Trout Unlimited comprises 21 unique chapters that cover the entire state of Wisconsin. Each chapter operates differently as a volunteer organization.
Trout Unlimited is a coldwater conservation group, not just a fishing club. They are a diverse, nationwide non-profit with members across the political spectrum who share a passion for protecting streams. Some members enjoy fishing while others prefer restoring habitats or educating youth. Ultimately, caring for our coldwater resources unites us all.
Our pastimes may differ - fly fishing, spin fishing, keeping trout, practicing catch and release - but we agree healthy streams matter most. If you share this goal, there is a place for you in Trout Unlimited, regardless of how you fish.
Joining a chapter provides fulfilling opportunities to better our waters and serve others. We work alongside disabled veterans, introduce kids to the outdoors, and improve stream habitats so future generations can enjoy them. For many, this volunteer work offers a meaningful contrast to our regular jobs.
